Who this course is for

This course has been made specifically for children between the ages of 4 and 5. The program has been made with care for these ages and our class groups work with a maximum of 5 children. The course consists of 2 lessons per week, attendance times are as follows:

• Wednesday 2 PM to 2.30 PM
• Saturday 10 AM - 10.30 AM

Course Learning Goals

The course has for purpose to engage children in expanding their vocabulary in a playful way so that they gain more confidence in speaking the Dutch language. We work with a different theme each week of the program. These themes are in line with the children's perception of the world. We use the core objectives as a guideline.

The objectives are for the children to learn key words and basic sentences related to themselves, family, friends, playing, school and sports. We encourage the children to speak Dutch throughout the lessons, by offering them different themes, as this allows for a broader vocabulary set.

• Structure: 8 lessons of 30 min ( 2 lessons per week)
• When: This is a 5 weeks course. The lessons take place on Wednesday and Saturday.
